Electric Picnic Official Brochure, Top Picks, 2014 Tracy Bruen, Galway's Original Solo Artist of the Year 2015 (Galway Advertiser) plays with a group of well known local musicians and their sound is created with a combination of piano, guitars, ukulule, flute, drums, double bass, fiddle, banjo, vocal harmonies and stories. Together they have played at Electric Picnic, Body and Soul, Westport Festival and Sunflower Fest and and many well known venues across the country. Their set at Body and Soul 2014 was described in the Irish Examiner as "excellent" and as one of the best of the lesser known acts at the festival. Tracy is a former member of My Fellow Sponges, and plays with fellow artists Steven Sharpe, Steve Bennett, Dylan Murphy, Tara Stacey and Liam Doherty in The Gingerbeard Family. She also hosts the Galway's longest running Open Mic night, in the Róisín Dubh.
