Tracy Bruen, Galway's Original Solo Artist of the Year 2015 (Galway Advertiser) plays with a group of well known local musicians and their sound is created with a combination of piano, guitars, ukulule, flute, drums, double bass, fiddle, banjo, vocal harmonies and stories.
Together they have played at Electric Picnic, Body and Soul, Westport Festival and Sunflower Fest and and many well known venues across the country.
Their set at Body and Soul 2014 was described in the Irish Examiner as "excellent" and as one of the best of the lesser known acts at the festival. They also featured as a top pick in the Electric Picnic official brochure.
Tracy's debut EP, "Play Outside the Lines", released to critical acclaim last year, is available at www.tracybruen.bandcamp.com. Songs from her upcoming album have been featured on regional and national radio stations

She recently released the video for "Make Mama Proud" which will be on her upcoming album due for release in spring 2017. Tracy is a former member of My Fellow Sponges, and plays with fellow artists Steven Sharpe, Steve Bennett, Dylan Murphy, Tara Stacey and Liam Doherty in The Gingerbeard Family. She also hosts the Galway's longest running Open Mic night, in the Róisín Dubh.
